Frank is gaining great recognition for his subtle and textured playing, especially as heard on his new CD with guitarist Louis Stewart, ‘You’ve Changed’. If you’re fortunate, you can catch that quartet on live gigs; we have been lucky enough to hear Frank many times in various Gilad Atzmon-led ensembles. He has appeared on five Atzmon CDs, including the award-winning ‘Exile’; this has been his main gig since 2000. Prior to this he attended Berklee School Of Music, Boston on a scholarship, after winning the soloist award in the Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Competition. Both his bandmates enjoyed similarly bright starts before becoming welcome fixtures on the international jazz stage; Stephen is established in the Peter King Quartet, while Aidan is a regular with Alan Skidmore’s main band.
